By Tam Watt on Saturday, January 17, 2004 - 10:05 pm:

Well well, what a pleasant surprise. I met Willie Falconer in Edinburgh last year, he hasn't changed a bit. I still keep in touch with Wee Rab(get aff ma bridge) and Big Dougie, neither of which were in the P+DAADT. I think we were all very priveledged to be a part of such a great and dedicated team. How many of them can you name? They were great days. Neil and Dougie have, I'm sure, kept a tight reign on a top tradition. Hello to Guffers and everyone else, drop us a line. Tam.

Kenny, great to hear from you. Phoned McQ the other night, he's in the process of having a new house built in Ayrshire. Many thanks for looking after Nairn when he was in your neck of the woods. I'm afraid I missed your phonecall but you can get my email address from this notice and we'll get in touch. I can't seem to get your email address from your last notice. Hope this finds you and Jake and the weans in good health and spirits. Yours Aye, Tam.

Hi all again,

managed to get my browser sorted out so I can view the website again.

To Tam Watt, you're still alive! Nairn told me you had been in Bosnia and that you were doing well. Get in touch.

Anybody mention "Damage" on the list of missing? My T-Shirt was last seen in a hotel somewhere in Glasgow. Can't (& won't) say who was wearing it at the time. Let you know if we ever have a reunion.

All the best to all of you.

PS. A question to Tam & Kenny...Do you remember what I said to you both on the day of the cease fire at the end of the first Gulf War???

Cheerio fur noo

By Tam Watt on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 - 09:45 pm:

Dougie, was it f*** o** I hate you both and if I ever get the chance I'm gonna kill you. Or words to that effect. I certainly remember you being in one of your better moods. How's it going Drummie are you well/sober? Yes I was in Bosnia for the winter, it made me remember all the things I didn't like about the mob. I'm now in partnership and managing a microbrewery. I think it was something to do with not being able to run a •••• up in one that drew me to it. Talking of breweries, who remembers the Ps and Ds visit to the Shultheiss in Spandau? We beat the record hands down, (what do you expect)? but we took a few casualties on the way. Is Neil Hall back with the bon? I keep in touch with Kipper, Wee Rab (get af ma bridge), Dougie Young, Gordon Walker, Rab MacAnnany. Have you seen on the site that Rab Quar is organising a pipe band reunion? Is there a hotel out there brave enough to take that one on? Hope this finds you in good health and spirits. Get in touch. Yours aye, Tam Watt.

By Dougie McDougall on Monday, August 08, 2005 - 11:27 am:

Hiya Tam,

good to hear from you and glad you're doing well. A microbrewery eh, well I'm not entirely sure what one is but it sounds like something kipper used to have in the bathroom at the band block in Redford!!! How is Kipper and Rab anyway?

We are all over for the Tattoo for the month so if you can make it down it would be great to see you.

Reunion! What about the Kings Park Hotel in Glasgow? We used to stay there during KAPE tours a few years back.

Anyway Tam, keep in touch and Happy brewing/sampling/brewing/sampling/hic/brewing/etc.

Dougs.

PS met alex macallister at Tain last week.

Hey Tam,

wee dougie here. Hows life since you left us? The Int cell hasn't been the same since. I always remeber Bn security briefs where you had been out in the bins raking for personal documents etc. That was always a laugh. Everyone used to sit there thinking, "please don't let it be me". Anyway pal, good to see you're still around. Keep in touch.

Hiya Dougie

Cheers for dragging up my "midgy raking" past it was always good for a laugh and at least some of the guys learned their lesson.

I guessed things were bad when big PAS asked me back up to inverness 4 months after i had left to brief him on Drumcree !!!!

Things my end are going great i have landed on my feet working for the Procurator Fiscals office in Glasgow dealing with everything from assaults to murders so its interesting stuff and the moneys not to be sniffed at either.

Good to see that you are alive and well and not booked into the Betty Ford Clinic yet.

All the best Tam

Anyway I was looking at photos of when Harry Mills and I did the Pipe Band S.F. conversion before and during Kenya that was not a bad way to spend a few months eh? anyway hope to talk to you soon all the best to you and anybody else in the band I know and anybody else out there with a real name.
