Bugle's Adventures
Bugle and his pals visited Schloss Hamelschenburg, near Hamelin, where we were treated to tea and cakes with the Countess Christine von Klenke.
The Countess very kindly gave us a personal welcome, before telling us something of the history of the castle and her family.
She was particularly interested in chatting with our WWII veterans.
Our pipers played at the castle and even the fish in the moat joined in singing “Auld Lang Syne!”
